The website https://www.shubhasankalpam.com/ and any associated applications (together "Platform") are owned and operated by Shubha Sankalpam, and includes any of our affiliates, associates, assignees or successors-in-interest as determined by us at our sole discretion and without requiring any prior notice or intimation to you ("Company", "we" or "us" or "our"). The Platform aims to digitize temples and other religious experiences for its users, provide online puja booking services and other related services ("Services").

This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") sets out the privacy practices of the Company with respect to the entire content of the Platform. This Privacy Policy should be read carefully to understand how the aforementioned Platforms would be using the information supplied by its users to the Platforms.

By using our Services and the Platform or by otherwise giving us your information, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1.2 It is clarified that in the event you make any payments through the Platform, we will not store any payment or card related information which you may provide while making such payments, such as card number, account number, validity date, expiry date or CVV number. Payments are processed securely via third-party gateways (e.g. Razorpay).

2. USE OF INFORMATION COLLECTED

2.1 Use of the Information for Services: The primary goal of the Company in collecting the information is to provide you a platform for the purpose of providing the Services. The Company may use the Personal Information provided by you in the following ways:

  • a. To help provide you the Services (e.g. performing Sankalpam in your name);
  • b. To observe, improve and administer the quality of Service;
  • c. To analyze how the Platform is used, diagnose technical problems;
  • d. To confirm your identity to determine your eligibility to use the Platform and avail the Services;
  • e. To notify you about any changes to the Platform or updates on your Puja delivery (e.g. video links);
  • f. To enable the Company to comply with its legal and regulatory obligations.

In accordance with TRAI regulations, we would like to inform you that we may reach out to users registered on the National Do Not Call (DND) registry through calls and SMS for essential communications related to our services and puja updates.

2.2 Cookies: Cookies are small portions of information saved by your browser onto your computer / mobile. 3.2 Consulting: The Company may partner with another party (such as verified purohits or temples) to provide certain specific services. When you book a puja, the Company may share such information (like name and gotra) that is strictly necessary for the third party to perform these rituals.

3.3 Regulatory Disclosures: We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. Thus, we may access, use, store, transfer and disclose your information as we reasonably determine is necessary and appropriate to satisfy any applicable law.

4.1 The Company has put in place necessary security practices and procedures to safeguard and secure such Personal Information. The Company only processes Personal Information in a way that is compatible with and relevant for the purpose for which it was collected.

4.2 In using the Platform, you accept the inherent security implications of data transmission over the internet. Therefore, the use of the Platform will be at your own risk and the Company assumes no liability for any disclosure of information due to errors in transmission, unauthorised third-party access or acts beyond its reasonable control.
